Founded by Duke of Wellington and King George IV in 1829, King’s College acquired the status of Royal charter in the same year. Located in London, King’s is considered as one of the prestigious public multidisciplinary research institutions.

Regarded as England’s fourth oldest University, King’s central campus is located in the heart of London, Strand, King’s has another four campuses in St. Thomas Hospital, Guy’s Hospital, Denmark and Waterloo.

Home to more than 20,000 undergraduate and around 10,000 postgraduate students, King’s welcome students coming from all walks of life. King’s comprises 8 academic faculties – subdivided into centres, departments and research divisions. Some of the faculties include- Dental Institute, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, The Dickson Poon School of Law and King’s Business School among others.

Full-time teaching staff comprises more than 5,000 renowned faculties. KCL’s alumni and staff includes around 10 Nobel laureates, researchers and recipients of Oscar and Grammy among others. Notable personalities include Florence Nightingale, John Keats, Michael Levitt and a lot more.

Collaborations with around 200 institutions across the globe helps KCL to offer study in abroad programmes to students. Over the past decade, King’s has improved immensely and has made its place in the leading research Universities.
