The Stockholm University is situated in Stockholm, Sweden. It is a public research university which was established as a college in the year 1878 and gained university status after 1960. It is the fourth oldest university of Sweden. In 2014/15, the university had 70,000 students in addition to a faculty of around 5000 personnel.
