With its root deeply cultivated in Chinese culture, this university represents both modernization and culture orientation. Officially established in the year 1963, the university started operations after the merger with Chung Chi College, United College and New Asia College. It is one of those university that operates in both the language – Chinese and English, which are widely used every day. Another interesting fact about the university is that this is the only constituent college in the territory. The founder of the university had a vision to impart learning thorough virtue, which is still followed by the institute.

With students enrolled in both graduate and undergraduate programs, the total number of student enrolled here is more than 17,000. Even after catering to so many students the university has managed to balance a beautiful blend of modernity and culture. Beyond its curriculum the university has ample of professional and learning courses to offer, which can shape a life.
