A University that opened for business purposes in 1880 in Los Angeles is now considered as the oldest research private University in California. Initially, it welcomed around 50 students. Today USC enrolls more than 40,000 students globally including 18,000 undergraduates and more than 20,000 graduate and professional studies students.
