Established in 1769, Dartmouth College is situated in Hanover, New Hampshire. It is one of the few colonial universities chartered pre- American Revolution and is a member of the Ivy League Universities.

Dartmouth strictly follows the curriculum of liberal arts offering more than 30 undergraduate programs in numerous majors like social sciences, engineering and humanities among others. Whereas, graduate school comprises Business, Medicine, Engineering and Arts & Sciences. The university is home to around 5,000 undergraduates and 2,000 post-graduates students. Dartmouth, in spite of being the smallest University among Ivy League Universities, is regarded as one of the leading research universities in the U.S.

The primary division of the university- Arts and Science Faculty comprises more than 35 academic departments and programs. Majors include- Studio Art, Theatre, Chemistry, Earth Sciences and Anthropology among others. The teaching staff of around 900 faculty members is known for its dual excellence in scholarship, teaching and industrial knowledge.
