Established in 1885, Georgia Institute of Technology officially opened its door to around 80 students in 1888. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, it is considered as one of the most prestigious scientific research and technological institutions. A part of the Georgia’s University system, Georgia Tech today enrolls more than 20,000 students.

Spread over 400-acres of land, Institute offers a collegiate atmosphere including more than 40 sports campus, around 450 student organizations and over 20 intramural sports. Also, Georgia Tech has its satellite campuses in France, Savannah, Athlone, Singapore, China, Metz, Georgia, Ireland, and Shenzhen.

Comprising more than 100 Interdisciplinary research centers, the institute is organized into 6 colleges and includes more than 30 departments, focusing on science and technology.
