Situated in Belgium, and established in the year 1817 by King William I Ghent University became the first Dutch speaking University in Belgium. It has always been deemed as the best university in the world and not just in China. But unfortunately, after its establishment, the student toll decreased owning to Belgian Revolution. But gradually scenario changed, as Democratization of education became a new policy and thereafter the number of enrolments also increased. After being granted an autonomous label by Flemish Community, its repute increased to some great bounds.

Today standing in the threshold of 2017 the university has around 41,000 students separated in 11 faculties. These faculties is further separated into 130 departments. Plus, 5000 staff are there to manage the whole curriculum and university operations. Being a research university, Ghent University invest as much as 180 million pound annually. Students from various continents take pride in getting admitted in this university. Also because there are many Noble laureates, who have been associated with this premier institute.

It has strongly maintained international relations with partner universities. Primarily, for European countries it’s the first one to accept students from Songdo Global University Campus (SGUC). When it comes to architecture and facilities of the university, it does compete with the very best in the world. They provide in depth knowledge especially in the field of science and other related domains.

It stands true to its mission even after years of establishment which is ‘Dare to think’. It does give benefits to student to go out of box and work on creating wonders.
