If one has to list down the benefits of studying at James Cook University, the list would be really long. Being the second oldest university in Australia, since its establishment in 1970, it carries with a legacy and heritage stamp of providing class apart education. This is one university, which has two branches in two different countries, and three campuses. Located in a tropical paradise, Cairns, the university paints a picturesque view. It also has its main campus in Singapore and Townsville. Along with that, there are 3 study centers as well, one in Mount Isa, other in Mackay and the third on Thursday Island.
Around 22,000 student are already enrolled in the University under different programs, and the seats are increasing day by day opening opportunities for students across the world. It has over 100 undergraduate and 140 plus post graduate programs to offer. The quality of the academics is designed in such a way that it makes their student ‘work-ready’. As far is accommodating all the students is a concern, the campus can easily accommodate all the student, but the residential complexes can take on 1475 students. But the plans to build more infrastructure in order to accommodate more candidates in the pipeline.
